Meniscus tear
Meniscus Tear is one of the most common injuries of the knee—two C-shaped wedges of cartilage (meniscus) cushion your knee joint.
There are many causes of a meniscus tear. Some of the most common reasons are twisting or rotating the knee suddenly, kneeling, squatting, heavy lifting, car accidents, and other injuries. As you age, your meniscus gradually becomes thin and brittle, contributing to a risk of tear.
